Distorted thoughts and generalized anxiety in COVID-19
Abstract
The Covid - 19 pandemic has generated a greater demand for psychological attention by the population, because it presents symptoms of discomfort, suffering and anxiety symptoms such as insomnia, worry, anguish, distraction, low appetite, fatigue, among others; at the same time the appearance of distorted thoughts that invade the psyche of the human being and hinder the development in daily activities, even reaching the total conviction of a negative cognition that influences emotions and behavior. This article analyzes the main distorted thoughts that are evident at the time of the pandemic and that are included in the symptoms of generalized anxiety.
